Additional career: I worked in the hospital setting for 45 years at St. Francis & St. Joseph Hospitals in Wichita; Shawnee Mission Medical Center in Kansas City, and Newton Medical Center.
Hobbies and Interest: Jim & I enjoy spending time with the grandchildren, traveling & camping with the grandchildren. Las year we took the family to Disney World. We have also traveled to Hawaii, Alaska, through the Panama Canal besides traveling the continental U.S.
As I reflect on the past 50 years, I see God's unconditional love and faithfulness through my life. One particular difficult time comes to mind. Our daughter was born with spina bifida and had major surgery as a newborn. Four days after her surgery my mother died. This was a dark trying time for me but as I reflect back, it was God's goodness that got me through those days. So many verses promise that He will uphold us with His right hand and walk with us every day.
